Uganda To Celebrate 39 Years Of NRM Liberation Day

RDC Wakiso District in charge of Busiro South and senior NRM cadre, Haji Kasiimu Kamugisha, has highlighted the reasons why Ugandans have every cause to commemorate NRM Liberation Day, which is celebrated annually on January 26th.
This year’s celebration will be held in Mubende District under the theme "39 Years of NRM/NRA: Salutations to Those Who Re-Sacrificed Our Homeland."
Uganda will mark 39 years of NRM Liberation Day on January 26th this year, with the main celebrations taking place in Mubende District. President Museveni is expected to be the Chief Guest.
In an exclusive interview, NRM Senior Cadre and RDC in charge of Busiro South, Haji Kasiimu Kamugisha, stated that over the past 39 years, the NRM, as the ruling party, has made significant strides in developing the country.
Kamugisha adds that Ugandans have been economically and socially transformed hence reason for celebrating the Liberation Day.
He adds that Uganda as country there is peace and stability compared to the ancient regimes where there was too much insecurity.
Kamugisha further notes that justice has prevailed in the country over the past 39 years, a principle that was not upheld under previous governments, unlike under President Museveni's leadership.
