Uganda To Hold ITU Symposium In July With A Primary Focus On Space Development
From July 1st to July 4th, 2024, Uganda is gearing up to host the International Telecommunication Union Global Symposium for Regulators at Munyonyo.
Hon. Nyombi Tembo, the Executive Director of UCC, shed light on the purpose of the Summit, which is expected to see a turnout of more than 700 delegates.
Following the successful conclusion of the NAM and G77 + China summits at Speke Resort Munyonyo, Uganda is now preparing to welcome the International Telecommunication Union Global Symposium for Regulators. This prestigious event is scheduled to take place from July 1st to July 4th, 2024, at Munyonyo.
Executive Director UCC Hon.Nyombi Tembo explained that the purpose of the Summit is expected to be attended by over 700 delegates.
He further revealed some major focus of the symposium especially development in space and other areas.
State Minister for ICT Hon. Kabyanga Baluku appealed to Ugandans to be hospitable as they did in NAM and G77 + China Summit
He added that Uganda is ready for all the technologies for modern development.
