38 Years Of NRM Government: Economy Has Grown Faster Because Of Democracy
Uganda is set to celebrate NRM Liberation day on 26 January in Jinja City and today we have the highlight about how the Economy was before the NRM Government and how it has improved in the last 38 years by the senior NRM Cadres explaining.
Next week on Friday, Uganda will be celebrating 38 years of NRM Liberation and this time the event will be hosted in Jinja District at Wakitaka Playgrounds.
During the struggle for liberation, a number of people lost their lives and others were injured. However the results were fruitful and peace began to reign in a country that was once scarred with traces of political instability. The liberation has had its impact on the citizens of Uganda and today, we bring to You State Minister for Kampala Hon Kyofatogabye and Fred Bamwine Commissioner Presidents Office explaining on how Democracy in the country that was brought by the NRM Government has increased the growth of the Economy.
These NRM Cadres say the economy of ancient regimes in Uganda was built on threats and brutality unlike the current economy that is growing faster because of democracy that was brought about by the NRM Government.
Bamwine adds that more leaders being elected in the country by people unlike the past where the leaders were appointed by the government is an indicator that there is democracy in the country.
This will be the 38th year of celebrating this honorable milestone
