AMC Season 2: Uganda Set To Make Significant Impact Through Content Creation

Uganda is set to showcase their talents and skills through various monologues in the second season of the Africa Monologue Challenge which also seeks passionate Ugandan storytellers to craft the soul of the Pan-African short film.

The Africa Monologue Challenge is an initiative of MK Casting, Ghana’s premier casting company in collaboration with the African Chamber of Content Producers and the National Film Authority of Ghana which uplifts African talent, culture, and the spirit of Pan-Africanism.

The public has been urged to support this initiative to explore Africa to change its image.

Uganda the pearl of Africa is set to participate in and host the Africa Monologue Challenge (AMC) season 2, the ultimate celebration of African talent, culture, and the spirit of Pan-Africanism.

While addressing the press today at the media centre, Rt. Hon Grace Kabayo the senior presidential advisor on special duties revealed the significance of the monologue challenge mostly the African culture stating that it's high time Uganda’s norms, beauty and stories get to be known.

Rt. Hon Kabayo added that Uganda is always publicized negatively and yet it has sparkled in African continents

She further called upon the media and public to clear out the image of Uganda regarding false stories which are tagged on it.

Ruth Kibuuka, Manager of Content Creation (UCC) noted that Uganda was the second edition of the Africa monologue challenge; she says that this helps in creating employment and shaping the narrative of Africa.

Some participants from different countries including Kenya, Nigeria, Zambia, Ghana, South Africa, and Cameroon, have shared their views about the challenge.
