Anchored in Christ for Unity, Peace, and Stability (Church of Uganda Theme 2026)
In 2026, we declare our lives and nation anchored in Christ, so that unity, peace, and stability become the hallmarks of our communities. Drawing from Ephesians 2:14–17, we are reminded that Christ Himself is our peace, breaking down walls of division and creating one new humanity where harmony and reconciliation prevail. As we journey through the year, may we deepen our faith, strengthen our bonds, and extend Christ’s love to all, both near and afar. Together, let us stand firm in hope, pursue justice with compassion, and be a beacon of light in our world.
Verse reference:
Ephesians 2:14–17 (NIV): For he himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, by setting aside in his flesh the law with its commands and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new humanity out of the two, thus making peace, and in one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility.
