Archbishop Kaziimba Calls For Men Empowerment In His Easter Message

The Archbishop of the Church of Uganda The Most Reverend Dr. Stephen Samuel Kaziimba Mugalu has asked Christians to use this Easter season to renew their empowerment for God’s service, especially the men. The prelate was delivering his Easter sermon at All Saints Cathedral in Kampala under the theme, “Jesus is risen to empower me.”

Archbishop of the Church of Uganda Dr. Stephen Samuel Kaziimba Mugalu has this morning while preaching to his flock at All Saints Cathedral in Kampala called for the empowerment of humankind in commemoration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ

The archbishop notes that due to the absence of empowerment especially for the men, many have chosen to neglect their families. This has in turn resulted in accumulated crimes committed by men and families of such men going without the necessary basic life requirements. The archbishop however thinks that women have a big role to play in empowering men for God’s service

The vocal prelate also vehemently condemned the vices of corruption and immorality which he said have even attracted threats to him from foreign nations because he popularized the ant homosexuality act.

The 1st Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for East African Community Affairs Rt. Hon. Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga welcomed His Grace the Archbishop’s message and called on men to renew their commitment towards their families.
