Archbishop Kaziimba Calls For Unity, Hardwork Obedience, Faithfulness In Soroti

His Grace the Most Rev. Dr Samuel Stephen Kaziimba  Mugalu, the Archbishop of the Province of Church of Uganda has completed his five day’s Pastoral visits in the Teso Subregion where he visited Church of Uganda Institutions in Soroti City, including Soroti Demonstration primary school, Mothers Union Nursery School, Vocational Training institute, Bethany girl’s Comprehensive Secondary school, Vision Nursery and primary school.

 He met Soroti City, Soroti District leaders, civil servants, the clergy and Teso Diocese Development Organization staff before paying a visit to Equity Bank. 

Hundreds of students and pupils welcomed the Archbishop when he visited their schools on his pastoral visit to Soroti district. Dr. Kaziimba also visited Teso College Aloet and Soroti University where he broke the ground for Church of Uganda worship churches.

Dr. Kazimba also met the leaders and civil servants where he called for unity, hard work, transparency and dedication to serve with all their hearts.

The Archbishop reminded the workers to have behind in their minds that every employee is very important including casual labourers.

Dr. Kaziimba advised all workers to have mutual understanding and avoid fights but rather, offer support to one another where necessary. The archbishop also urged the workers to fight corruption and avoid abuse of office.

Dr Kaziimba cautioned workers to avoid using witchcraft for seeking promotions and to avoid malicing their colleagues.

 He called upon the leadership to start a campaign for both boys and girls because he has discovered that majorly the strongest campaign going on for the girl child.

Dr Kaziimba excited students of Teso College Aloet after he told them he loves football and supports the Arsenal team.
