Archbishop Kaziimba condemns injustices during Speaker Oulanyah’s funeral

The Archbishop of the Church of Uganda The Most Rev. Dr. Stephen Samuel Kaziimba has called on leaders to practice love for humanity and desist from injustices like land grabbing as practised by some officials.

The Archbishop was preaching at the funeral of the Late Speaker Jacob Oulanyah at Kololo Independence grounds where he was the main celebrant while President Yoweri Museveni was the chief mourner.

The President commended Archbishop Kaziimba for denouncing corruption and land grabbing arguing that we must harmonize with the church and develop our country.

Archbishop Kaziimba who hailed the late Speaker for his generous contribution of 100M towards the Love Gift, challenged leaders to participate in their local church activities so that they can be remembered.

The Archbishop also commended the fallen speaker for his outstanding support in God's works not only in the Church of Uganda but also in all the denominations.

He also encouraged the public to ensure that their relationship with Christ is key, as they labour to make the world a better place for everyone to live in.
