Archbishop Kaziimba-Mugalu Urges Christians To Support The Young Generation

With only five days to the commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ, Christians have been called upon to nurture children and youth for them to become strong men and women of God.

The call was made by the Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, the Most Rev. Dr. Samuel Steven Kaziimba-Mugalu as he delivered his Christmas message at Namirembe Cathedral in Kampala.

The Archbishop also appealed to all church leaders to invest more in schools for the benefit of the young generation.

On 25th December every year, Christians across the world joyfully celebrate Christmas Day in commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ.

The Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, the Most Rev. Dr Samuel Steven Kaziimba-Mugalu, delivered his Christmas message five days before the commemoration. He urged Christians to support children by nurturing them to become strong believers, noting that without properly groomed young people, the church cannot stand the test of time.

The Archbishop also appreciated the Christians who have made prayer a part of their lives in 2023, saying that it's only through prayer that a Christian is made strong in faith. He asked them to keep the spirit in the new year 2024

The Archbishop also reminded Christians to stick with Jesus Christ as their only Lord and Savior by fighting evil at all levels of life including families.

His Grace Dr. Kazimba Mugalu also sent a message to the bishops appointed to lead the new dioceses to embrace servant leadership as demonstrated by Jesus Christ.
