Archbishop Kaziimba visits Kinkizi Diocese
The Archbishop of Church of Uganda The Most Rev. Dr. Stephen Samuel Kaziimba has been in the Diocese of Kinkizi on a pastoral visit.
On Sunday, Archbishop Kaziimba was the main celebrant in a service at St. Peter's Cathedral Nyakatare that was led by Rt. Rev. Dan Zoreka the Bishop of the Diocese of Kinkiizi.
On Monday, the Archbishop visited Kirenzi Prayer Mountain in the Diocese of Kinkiizi where he appreciated the Late Bishop J.W. Ntegyereize for acquiring the land and Bishop Dan Zoreka for adding on to the vision.
He also commissioned Ngoto Island Tourism Hub - Bwindi, a project of the Diocese of Kinkiizi, a hub meant to promote tourism & generate income for self-sustainability of the Diocese.
Archbishop Kaziimba also launched the green tree program at Great Lakes Regional University in the Diocese of Kinkiizi and commended the University for the Environmental Conservation Program and the University community for the warm welcome
