Archbishop Kaziimba visits North Kigezi Diocese
The Archbishop of Church of Uganda The Most Rev. Dr. Stephen Samuel Kaziimba has applauded the medical and support staff of Kisizi Hospital led by Dr. Ian Spillman for greatly transforming the 64-year-old hospital.
He expressed appreciation to them upon his visit to the hospital on Friday as part of his pastoral visit to North Kigezi.
The Archbishop was received by the caretaker Bishop of North Kigezi Diocese The Rt. Rev Patrick Tugume, clergy and laity at Kahengye Bridge yesterday.
After visiting Kisizi Hospital, Archbishop Kaziimba proceeded to Nyakisoroza Archdeaconry where he received a very warm reception from Christians.
He appreciated the great development in the Archdeaconry with significant support from Canon. Dr. Johnson Byabashaija and many others.
The Archbishop is expected to lead service at Emmanuel Cathedral Kinyasano on Saturday at 9am.
