Archbishop Kazimba Consecrates Rev. Onesmus As 6th Bishop Of North Kigezi
The Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, His Grace Dr. Samuel Stephen Kazimba Mugalu has consecrated and installed Rt. Rev Onesmus Asiimwe as the 6th Bishop of North Kigezi Diocese at St. Emmanuel cathedral Kinyasano.
The Rt. Rev. Onesimus Asiimwe in his charge pledged to improve the welfare of the clergy working with the church in the Diocese, church foundation schools infrastructure among others.
According to Bishop Onesmus commonly known as "Uncle O", there’s a need to address critical issues of the clergy welfare, especially in terms of remuneration, as well as the provision of transport.
