
Bishop Banja Calls For Commitment From Married Couples

The Bishop of Namirembe Diocese, Rt. Rev. Moses Banja has urged married Christians to commit to each other, emphasizing that it is God's will. The Bishop made the call during his visit to the home of President Rosemary Biingi Kawiiso and her husband in Kirinya, Bigo Mutundwe, within the Namirembe Diocese.
The Bishop, accompanied by his wife, Rev. Canon Prof. Olivia Nassaka Banja, was presented with several gifts by the Biingi Family.
At exactly 7:30 pm, the Bishop of Namirembe Diocese, Rt. Rev. Moses Banja, accompanied by his wife, Rev. Canon Prof. Olivia Nassaka Banja, arrived at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Biingi in Mutundwe amidst jubilation from Christians.
The Bishop was warmly welcomed by the Biingi family, alongside the deacon of Natete Archdeaconry, Ven: Canon BK Buwembo, and several other Christians.
Before addressing the congregation, Bishop Banja was served lunch, and later, Hon. Julius Biingi Kawiiso introduced his family to the Bishop.
Addressing journalists, Rt. Rev. Moses Banja expressed appreciation to the Biingi family for hosting him, stating that such gestures should be embraced by all Christians.
He called upon married Christians to be faithful to each other, citing the exemplary service of the president of the Mothers' Union.
The Bishop also urged members to support the construction of the Mothers' Union house in Namirembe, emphasizing its importance for the entire diocese.
With gratitude, the Biingi family, led by Hon. Biingi Julius Kawiiso and his wife, the President of the Mothers' Union in Namugongo Diocese, thanked Bishop Banja for accepting their invitation.
Rosemary Biingi Kawiiso, President of the Mothers' Union in Namirembe Diocese, echoed the Bishop's call for support for the construction of the Mothers' Union house.
Later, the Bishop was presented with numerous gifts by the family.
