Bishop Dan Zoreka Celebrates 13 Years Of Service In Grand Thanksgiving

In a momentous celebration, Bishop Dan Zoreka of Kinkiizi Diocese held a heartwarming Thanksgiving service, surrounded by a multitude of faithful supporters to mark 13 years of his dedicated service as Bishop of the Diocese of Kinkiizi and held a promise to uphold the good work even in the future.

With favour and faith, all the funds raised will breathe new life into St. Peter's Cathedral Nyakatare and usher in remarkable changes to the church's structure which together will approximately cost 600 million UGx. 
The service was graced by Bishop Onesimus Asiimwe of North Kigezi Diocese who was the preacher and the Emeritus Bishop George Bagamuhunda of Kigezi Diocese. 

Excitement in Kanungu was unmatched yesterday as Rt Rev Dan Zoreka the Bishop Kinkiizi Diocese was giving thanks to the Lord for the 13 years he has served as Bishop so far. All the funds collected were directed to the construction of the new roof of St Peter's Cathedral Nyakatare.

Bishop Onesimus Asiimwe of North Kigezi Diocese was the preacher of the day and in his sermon, he called upon Christians as they accompany Bishop Dan for Thanksgiving, they should do so from the heart.
The Archbishop of the church of Uganda sent a congratulatory letter to Bishop Dan Zoreka for 13 years and this was delivered by Emeritus Bishop George Bagamuhunda of Kigezi Diocese
The service was graced by several dignitaries among whom was Dr Chris Baryomunsi the Minister for ICT and National Guidance Who Called for continued unity amongst the government and the church to serve the people of God. The minister also gave 20 million contributions.

Bishop Dan Zoreka expressed a magnitude of excitement during an interview with COU Family TV where he also called for unity amongst Christians to realize development.
