Bishop Esakhan Cautions Medical Workers Against Aiding Abortion

Rt.Rev. Micheal Okwii Esakhan, The Bishop of Kumi Diocese has asked Medical workers to stop aiding abortion.

Bishop Esakhan was speaking as the chief guest during the graduation ceremony of 451 graduates at Ngora School of Nursing and Midwifery.

The graduates received certificates and diplomas in the fields of Nursing and Midwifery.

The Bishop was concerned about the ethical code among the majority of medical workers who spill out confidential details to their patients. He also urged the graduates to aim higher and consider pursuing further studies and updating their knowledge and skills.

Meanwhile, Ngora School of Nursing and Midwifery was established in 1961 by the church missionaries with the initial purpose of training those who would go and work at Ngora Freda Carr Hospital. The 62-year-old institution is located in Ngora district, Teso sub-region
