Bishop Sheldon Roots For Love

Men and women in marriage have been urged to complement, love and respect each other if they are to witness a successful marriage. The call was made by the Rt.Rev.Dr.Fred Sheldon Mwesigwa, the bishop of Ankole diocese.

He challenged wives especially those that are economically well-off to always respect their husbands. The bishop of Ankole diocese Rt. Rev. Dr. Fred Sheldon Mwesigwa called for love and unity if marriage is to sustainable.

Bishop Sheldon made the comments while addressing hundreds of women who attended a two days Women of excellence conference for Women of excellence.

The conference that was held at Mbarara High School in Mbarara attracted women of excellence from Greater Ankole, Kigezi and Rwenzori regions. He emphasized on building harmonious relationships and working together.

Sheldon thanked organizers of the conference and challenged all women to be passionate about things of God and serve him. The conference was organized by Proclaim Africa

Justice Bamugemereire, the guest of honor at the conference- emphasized the role of positive aspects of a Christian woman leader in transforming the society. She encouraged women to be passionate, honest and have the highest level of integrity in whatever they do.
