Bishop Zoreka Asks Youth To Live A Purposeful Life.
The Bishop of the Diocese of Kinkizi Rt. Rev. Dan Zoreka has appealed to the youth to live a purposeful life so that they are able to have a meaningful life.
The Bishop made the remarks, while presiding at the opening of the Annual Diocese of Kinkizi Youth and Students Convention.
The Bishop of the Diocese of Kinkizi Rt. Rev. Dan Zoreka has challenged the youth to endeavor to live a purposeful life.
The Bishop Zoreka while presiding over the Annual Diocese of Kinkizi Youth and Students Convention reckoned how youth today loose direction and asked to avoid living an aimless life which will lead them to distractions.
Bishop Zoreka says that for every good race run, there are prizes to be awarded therefore the youth should lead their life with focus.
He reminded the participants to use the workshop to get close to Jesus Christ as their personal saviour and pray hard to leave their past deeds which were destructive.
The Convention was also addressed by the new Diocesan Secretary Rev Gad Tibeijuka Ngyemura and the Guest Speaker Rev Ronald Natuhwera from North Kigezi Diocese all who preached patience, love and hard work.
Rev. Canon. Ngyemura thanked the Archdeaconries that supported the participants to turn in big numbers for the convention and said that he hoped the experience will not leave them the same.
The Preacher of the day Rev Ronald Natuhwera told the participants that Almighty God knows their challenges and they will overcome them if they are committed to serve him.
According to the Diocesan Youth Cordinator Rev. Bob Mbabazi Ntegyereize, about 1,300 Youth are attending this year’s Convention.
