Capt. Mukula Urges FDC Supporters To Join NRM Party During Prayers For The Late Bishop Okabe

Prayers for remembering the former MP for Serere County late Bishop Patrick Okabe and his wife were held at the family home in Serere County, Serere district.

Capt. Mike Mukula, the vice chairperson NRM Eastern Uganda, represented the speaker of Parliament Annet Anita Among as chief guest.

Guests present included Hon Hellen Adoa Abeku, Minister of State for Fisheries who also doubles as the woman Member of Parliament for Serere district, Elijah Okupa MP Kasilo County, Woman Member of Parliament Ngora district  Stella Apollot Isodo , MP for Kibale County Richard Oseku, MP Soroti City West Jonathan Ebwalu among others.

Former MP Serere county Late Bishop Okabe together with his wife Christine crashed and died in a motor accident that occurred at Naboa along Mbale -Tirinyi road on 19/12/2022.

Capt. George Michael Mukula, the vice chairperson NRM Eastern Uganda applauded the late legislator Okabe a people person, one with solid integrity.

Capt. Mukula also took the advantage and appealed to the supporters of Forum for Democratic change party to consider joining the ruling NRM party pointing out that NRM was a party committed to development.

Hellen Adoa Abeku, State Minister for Fisheries remembers late Bishop Okabe for offering exceptional services to the people in the community.

She also strongly pointed out that the late Okabe before his death united all the Members of Parliament from Teso (Teso Parliamentary Group)

Hon. Emmanuel Omoding, MP Serere County who also doubles as the son to late Okabe, thanked the people who turned up for the prayers and encouraged them to keep up the support.
