Christians Called Upon To Be Patriotic In West Ruwenzori Diocese
Rt. Rev. Barnabas Tibaijuka the first Consecrated Bishop for the West Ruwenzori diocese has called upon Christians and Clergy to be patriotic if they are to develop their diocese and Uganda as a country.
This call was made yesterday at All Saints Parish Church in Bundibugyo town where 84 Comfirmands were confirmed into the Christian faith.
Rt. Rev. Barnabas Tibaijuka was consecrated and enthroned as the first Bishop of West Ruwenzori on the 27th of August this year. He launched his pastoral visit at All Saints Parish Church in Bundibugyo town where he confirmed 84 confirmands into the Christian faith
Rt. Rev. Barnabas Tibaijuka the first Consecrated Bishop for the West Ruwenzori diocese called upon the Christians and Clergy to be patriotic and work together if they were to develop their diocese and the country at large.
Bishop Tibaijuka further noted that Christians should work hard if they are to achieve the set programs and plans of the diocese.
Rev. Michael Bakasoma the Vicar of All Saints Parish told our gatherings that it’s a privilege and honour to host the first Bishop West Ruwenzori diocese as he launches his pastoral visit.
Hon. Richard Gafabusa Muhumuza the Member of Parliament for Bwamba County in Bundibugyo district and Member of the church says politicians will make sure the diocese achieves its targets.
Christians who were confirmed by the first bishop were very happy about this happening.
The Bishop’s pastoral visit will end on 4th February 2024.
