Christians Urged To Denounce Domestic Violence

Christians Urged To Denounce Domestic Violence

Preaching to the parishioners, Monsignor Peter Kaberenge decried the rampant battering of men and women in homes.

He further noted with concern the rampant forest and wetland encroachment for charcoal burning, cultivation and construction and said the practice has been responsible for famine, drought and poverty.

Christians were urged to make resolutions for their families in the new year in order to monitor their achievements.

SP Patrick Opiyo, the DPC Kagadi says Christmas and new year festivities have been peaceful apart from petty crimes of theft and fights.

A couple which was wedded during the mass shared with us on what prompted their decision.
