Christians Urged To Know What They Are Looking For In Life
Christians of Namirembe Diocese have been questioned about what they are looking for in life as they celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
The Rt. Rev. Wilberforce Kityo Luwalira asked Christians to know what they are looking for in life saying that this will help them avoid unholy behaviors in the community influenced by developed countries.
He said this while preaching at Namirembe Cathedral during the easter celebration service. While traditions and religious rituals for Easter vary among denominations across the globe, many Christians observe the holiday through church services and prayer.
In his sermon, today at Namirembe cathedral, RT Rev. Wilberforce Kityo Luwalira, The Bishop of Namirembe diocese urged Christians to always know what they are looking for in life. He began by calling upon Christians to always be thankful to God.
The Bishop further cautioned believers to disassociate themselves from activities that are against mankind where he was referring to West countries that are promoting LGBT and other acts that are against Christ’s teaching.
The service has been attended by many Christians including Mrs. Margaret Mawanda who was celebrating 91 years. She advised the young generation to always love God and to reach a milestone like hers.
Rev. Muwonge Samuel a clergy at Namirembe cathedral, strongly told believers to spend their easter at home with their families to avoid temptations once they go out which leads to unnecessary spending of money.
