Christians Urged to Thank God for Answered Prayers: Rev. Can Kanyankole Celebrates 35 Years Of Service To The Church.
Christians from the Diocese of Kinkiizi in Nyakatare, Kanungu District, have been urged to always thank God whenever He answers their prayers. The call was made by the Bishop of North West Ankole Diocese while preaching during a thanksgiving ceremony held in honor of former Diocesan Secretary, Rev. Can Kenneth Kanyankole. The event celebrated his 35 years of service to the Church and his successful completion of a master's degree in organizational leadership from Uganda Christian University.
While addressing the congregation, Bishop Magezi emphasized the importance of giving thanks to God after receiving answers to prayers, noting that gratitude is an important part of the Christian faith.
The bishop further reminded Christians that God is the custodian of everything on earth and has complete authority over all creation. He encouraged believers to continually acknowledge God's sovereignty and appreciate His blessings.
Speaking during the ceremony, Rev. Canon Kenneth Kanyankole thanked God for enabling him to serve the Church faithfully for 35 years and for granting him the opportunity to successfully attain a Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership.
Relatives, friends, and political leaders congratulated Canon Kanyankole on his remarkable achievements and wished him continued success in his ministry.
