Continue Guiding These Newly Confirmed Children - Bishop Luwalira To Parents In Kansanga

As the Bishop of Namirembe Diocese, Rt. Rev. Wilberforce Kityo Luwalira continues his last visits around Namirembe Diocese, Today he visited St. Apollo Kivebulaya Church Of Uganda in Kansanga where he laid hands on 47 candidates.
He encouraged parents to continue supporting the new communicants to keep in their faith seeing that most parents tend to neglect their children after confirmation.
Bishop Luwalira is set to retire on 8th December 2023 and today he also bid farewell to the Christians of Kansanga where he appreciated their cooperation for the time he has been in service.
The Bishop of Namirembe Diocese, Rt Rev Wilberforce Kityo Luwalira today laid hands on 47 candidates among whom 34 were girls and 17 boys.
During his Sermon, Bishop Luwalira advised parents to receive and continue guiding the new confirmands so that they can grow in the Lord. He also called upon them to be the first examples to these Children.
The Bishop also echoed the importance of teaching the children what the Anglican faith stands for sighting that every institution has rules that regulate it.
It should be remembered that Bishop Luwalira is set to retire this year come 8th December. He appreciated Christians for their cooperation throughout his period of service.
The Vicar at St. Apollo Kivebulaya Church of Uganda Kansanga Rev Can Simeon Charles Dumba appreciated the Bishop for his services throughout the 14 years he has been in charge of The Diocese.
Dr. Ssebagala Godfrey Lusiba one of the organizers who welcomed the Bishop noted that Rt Rev Wilberforce will be missed by the Christians because of the tremendous work he has been doing in the Diocese.
