In over role milk production rose significantly to 3.22 billion liters from 2.8 despite of the reported drought in the milk shed.

The executive director Akankiza-Samson-Mpiira says that the reason why they are empowering dairy production is to ensure that there is enough milk production regardless of the high prices that were in eastern, and northern farm gates.

He added they have trained over more than 85,032 dairy farmers, advanced into modern dairy production, and they have supplied also equipment to these farmers to ease the work of the dairy production business.
