Diocesan Secretary Commissions 42 Youth for PAYSCO

The Diocesan Secretary, Rev. Canon Eric Baingana, today, December 8, 2025, commissioned a group of 42 youth for the Provincial Annual Youth and Students Convention (PAYSCO) at the Diocesan Offices. The convention begins today at Mbarara High School in Ankole Diocese, and it will end on Thursday, December 11, 2025.

Speaking to the youth, the Diocesan Secretary urged them to pay attention and remain focused throughout the convention. “Be attentive and focused in this convention you are going for. There is life in the church. Love the church, serve Christ, and imitate Him,” he emphasized.

He reminded them that they are representing North Kigezi Diocese, including many who were unable to attend PAYSCO.

The Diocesan Youth and Children’s Coordinator, Rev. Benson Amanya, encouraged the youth to be determined as they participate in the conference. He also urged them to share what they will have learned with fellow youth who did not get the opportunity to attend PAYSCO.
