Equity Bank Signs MOU With Bakaima Real Estate Agency

Equity Bank Uganda which aims to empower clients and stakeholders both socially and economically, through continuous innovation, has also revolutionized banking in Uganda to make it more efficient, allowing people to turn their vision into reality today it has signed an agreement for 10 years with Bakaima real estate agency aimed to support all the equity clients to acquire lands and residential houses on loans.

This partnership was approved by the executive director Kenneth Onyango, who urged the equity clients to embrace this opportunity believing it will help their customers acquire land with reliable agents through the help of the bank itself.

Bakaima real estate today collaborated with the stakeholders of equity bank clients to ensure that their lives are easier and transformed in terms of business premises, construction land estate, and commercial agriculture among others.

The Executive Director of Commercial Banking Kenneth Onyango at equity bank noted that equity bank believes in transforming lives, and also to empower equity clients by enabling them in the journey of real estate. He adds that at their bank the money is available to support each and every client who is willing to acquire land from Nakajima real estate agency.

Onyango also added that the bank is to contribute 300 million dollars, for both the local customers and clients aboard in need of land.

Kato Fred, Leader of SME equity bank revealed that this partnership serves as a social responsibility that the banks need to fulfil to their customers.

He added that the bank is aware of the challenges that their clients face and this determined the loan’s terms and conditions in which all will be able to repay back the money, and this will depend on how one earns.

The CEO of Bakaima real estate agency Kawesa Karim appreciated equity bank for trust, he assured the bank of the guaranteed security and transparency regarding the land they are to offer.
