Family Business Symposium: Parents Urged to Engage Their Children in Business Activities.Couples in Business Need to Constantly Communicate.
The Gudie Leisure Farm organization today skills Ugandans to get interested in starting their own income-generating ventures that will benefit their families for generations by holding conversations with stakeholders and experts in this area.
In this meeting at the leisure farm, business people from different sectors gathered and shared experiences on how they run their businesses and what has kept them remaining standing.
Today, business owners who are well known in Uganda have gathered for a lesson on family business at Gudie Leisure Farm in Nagyera to teach Ugandans together with their families how to start small businesses that will last for a long time and for generations and that will benefit children and grandchildren.
Starting a family business helps others to get jobs, and parents in homes have been urged to help their children, especially by giving them jobs together with showing them what to do.
Every parent at home has a responsibility to help teach their children of the next generation so that they too can know where money comes from.
They have told us that you should not avoid things that affect business together with the happiness of the family and also guide lives in a good way.
The successful businesswoman also has something she has said about how a person should get out of poverty and become a useful and knowledgeable person in business in the country.
Denise Tulyatemba from NODPU urges business people to tell those in their homes why they are starting that business and to work together with their spouses, and she added that we should exchange contacts so that it can help us to connect with responsible people easily.
Dr. Julian Amara, one of the founders of Cheers, on how families can stay in business, said that most of the time, it comes from parents teaching their children.
She urges women to be submissive together with working together and also to build each other up.
