FDC Party President Urges Government To Concetrate On Preventive Health Measures
The Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) party president, Patrick Oboi Amuriat has called upon the government to pay close attention to depressed patients in the country.
Amuriat advises the government to come up with preventive workable policies that concentrate on preventive measures than waiting to intervene at the level diseases have taken root in patients.
The FDC president was speaking to mourners during the burial of his sister Martha Ajilong whose demise is attributed to depression.
Ajilong who was a former employee with the Ministry of Ethics and Integrity as an accountant died at Mulago National Referral Hospital on 13th August 2023.
She was buried over the weekend at Ajuket village in Kanyum sub-county, Kumi district.
