Five Iniured In Kisenyi Fire
Five people have been rushed to kiruddu Hospital following a fire outbreak in Kakajo zone, Kisenyi. The fire is said to have started at 4 am, destroying millions worth of goods, businesses, and homes
The fire is said to have started in the wee hours of the morning, at around 4 am. It is reported the fire started from the maize milling plant before spreading to other parts of the same village, Kakajjo zone, Kisenyi parish.
It destroyed maize milling machines, maize stores, and houses among other things worth millions and millions of shillings. The cause of the fire is not clear.
Five people, men, and women were injured by the fire and rushed to kiruddu hospital. Residents’ efforts to save goods were futile as the fire continued to spread before fire brigade vehicles arrived hours later at the destroyed goods.
It is not the first time fire is gutting this place. Residents accuse self-seekers of the continued fires.
They have asked the government to accord them protection.
