
Good Friday Should Help Us To Reflect On What Jesus Passed Through- Bishop Kityo Luwalira
The bishop for Namirembe diocese Rt Rev. Wilberforce Kityo Luwalira has asked Christians to use and reflect on what Jesus went through before his crucifixion on the cross. This the Bishop says will help everyone to overcome whatever situation they are going through.
He said this as he had led a delegation of believers for the way of the cross from Namirembe church to old Kampala where joint prayers were organized by the Uganda Joint Christian Council to mark Easter Friday.
The bishop of the Kampala diocese has led a delegation of Christians on the way of the cross from Namirembe church to old Kampala for prayers organized under the umbrella Uganda Joint Christian Council.
The Christians carried crosses and went about singing a hymn, praising and worshiping the name of Jesus.
The congregation proceeded with several stopovers at Mengo Hospital and Sanyu Babies home where they shared the passion of Christ with the sick, staff members, and the children.
Rt. Rev. Wilberforce Kityo Luwalira, the Bishop of Namirembe diocese has asked Christians to meditate on how the Lord Jesus Christ endured the suffering before securing victory at the Cross saying this will give everyone hope.
Many believers who participated in walking have participated in walking have different justifications for taking part.
The entire delegation converged at old Kampala where fellow Christians had converged to mark the day of the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ
