Government To Focus On Infrastructure Betterment In UCMID Program - Minister Kabyanga
The state minister for National Guidance, Hon. Godfrey Kabyanga Baluku has revealed that the government has decided to push the Uganda Cities and Municipal Infrastructure Development-Additional Financing (UCMID-AF) Program as a strategy to develop the country.
He said that the program is aimed at upscaling the infrastructure in the cities and municipalities around the country.Speaking to journalists at Uganda Media center, Hon. Godfrey Kabyanga Baluku, the state minister of National Guidance, provided an update on the advancements made by the government in the execution of the Uganda Cities and Municipal Infrastructure Development-Additional Financing Kabbyanga noted the challenges in their work to deliver services to their people.
He explained the reasons for the delay in the organization of the women's local council leadership elections.On the issue of the former speakers and deputy speakers receiving the cars handed over to them On Monday by the speaker of Parliament, Anitah Among, Baluku mentioned that the act was long-awaited and there are other benefits that the former are yet to receive.Just like everyone else, Kabbyanga urged people to be vigilant ahead of the Christmas holidays.
