As a way of giving back to the community, HealingWay Diagnostic and Fertility Centre is hosting a free six-day medical camp from the 25th to the 30th of this month.

At a press conference earlier today, the center’s leadership shared that this initiative is their way of saying thank you for the trust and support the community has shown over the years.

They warmly invite women, families, and anyone in need of medical care to come by and make the most of this opportunity to receive expert care completely free.

Commissioned by the Prime Minister last year, HealingWay Diagnostic and Fertility Centre will offer a range of free services during this outreach, including general consultations, screenings, and specialized care in maternity, women’s health, and pediatrics.

1. According to Dr. Mugisha Dale, a gynecologist and fertility specialist at the center, infertility affects up to 90% of Ugandans at some stage, with many seeking treatments abroad due to limited local options.

 The center aims to reverse this trend by offering accessible and effective diagnostic and fertility services.

Dr. Mugisha also pointed out that lifestyle factors and lack of timely medical consultations are major contributors to the infertility crisis. He urged Ugandans to prioritize reproductive health and seek expert guidance early.

This initiative comes in alignment with the Ministry of Health’s October 2024 guidelines, which expanded the national reproductive health framework to include infertility care as part of broader self-care interventions.
