In his handover speech, Kasibante commended the people of Hoima for giving him an enabling environment to work and to serve them for one year and four months.

Kasibante also revealed that he had introduced a will-writing programme to curb escalating family land disputes therefore he asked his successor to carefully handle matters related to land because they are so sensitive.

Robert Ruhiirwa, the Hoima West division mayor and other councillors commended Kasibante for his great contributions to serving the people of Hoima West city division and welcomed the new commissioner Hajjat Nanyanzi.

Meanwhile, some councillors are concerned and troubled by the regular transfers in the division saying this has a very huge negative effect on the development of the division.
