Hundreds Turn To Christ In Mukono Diocese Convention

LUKE ALINAITWE

Today, hundreds of Christians made a profound commitment to their faith during the second convention of 2024 held by the Mukono Diocese. Rev. Alex Bwambale, Director of the Missional Leadership Training Institute, delivered the keynote address, emphasizing the significance of repentance among Christians.

Opening the convention, Rt Rev Enos Kagodo, Bishop of Mukono Diocese, urged Christians to pray fervently for the Church, particularly in light of challenges such as land disputes within the Diocese.
The Mukono Diocese buzzed with excitement as Christians gathered for their second convention of the year.

The event drew various church leaders, including Rt Rev Enos Kagodo, Bishop of Mukono Diocese. In his address, he called upon leaders to enhance their efforts in mobilization, aiming to accommodate more attendees in larger venues.

He also urged Christians to unite in prayer for the Church, addressing specific challenges like land disputes.

Rev. Alex Bwambale, the convention's guest preacher, stressed the importance of repentance and forgiveness in his sermon.

Following Rev. Bwambale's sermon, a call to embrace Christ resulted in hundreds responding, seeking spiritual deliverance through prayer.
