IRCU secures $9,000 to fight Ebola spread

Addressing journalists on Tuesday morning during a joint press conference with the inter religious council of Uganda, the Commissioner in charge of disease prevention at Ministry of health Dr. Richard Kabanda  explained why the ministry has partnered with religious in the fight against Ebola.

According to Dr. Kabanda, the cause also aims at targeting Ebola survivors of virus who are at a high risk of transmitting the disease.

Rev. Charles Kasibante the Board Chairman of the Inter Religious Council of Uganda has explained how the program is going to be operationalized

The Inter Religious Council of Uganda was founded in 2001 as a National Faith Based Organization bringing together different religious institutions for a common goal.
