Kanungu Christians Hope For Revival To Turn People To Jesus
Christians in Kanungu District have joined fellow Christians across the country in the procession of the way of the cross.
These started their procession at Nyamirama archdeaconry, Kinkiizi Diocese, and walked over four Kilometers through the Town and Villages. They proceeded to sing hymns and songs of praise.
The devoted Christians walked through Nyamirama, drumming and singing songs of praise making several stopovers where they read scriptures about the death of Jesus Christ.
Kanungu Christians are concerned many people have diverted from what Christ died for reverting to evil.
These believe a spark of revival is critical in turning people back to Christ. The archdeacon Nyamirama archdeaconry, Rev Canon Lawrence Birohoza asked Christians to be humble and forgive each other as Jesus Christ sacrificed his life for sinners.
The way of the cross precedes activities that led to the death of Jesus Christ and his resurrection on Easter Sunday.
