KCCA, the organization that works on cleaning the city and maintaining its standard to look good as it develops, with its Weyonje operations, was today in Bukesa Katende Zone as it continues to unblock drains, remove mud, and clean up

In its Weyonje campaign they have continued to encourage leaders in this area not to stop warning residents against littering garbage everywhere

And in conclusion they planted commemorative trees and they said that they have a plan to get companies that buy garbage to avoid collapses like the landslide that happened at Kiteezi

KCCA, the organization responsible for maintaining the city’s hygiene standard, urged citizens of Bukesa, Katende zone, to be hygienic, encouraging unblocking drainage systems and Ugandans not to litter garbage anywhere.

The director public health KCCA, Dr. Sarah Zalwango urged residents of this area not to go back to being reluctant, saying the authority will be watching to ensure hygiene is maintained in such places

Dr. Judith Nalukwago, Secretary for Social Services, KCCA, explained the plan they have in these garbage operations. They want companies that will buy this garbage so that they can avoid problems that could happen, like what happened at Kiteezi
