Lwengo Residents Urged To Always Give Thanks To God
Uganda Ambassador to Sudan Chad and Morocco Dr. Rashid Yahya Ssemuddu, Ugandan Ambassador to Sudan Has encouraged Ugandans to always thank God in all situations.
HE. Semuddu was in Lwengo at a thanksgiving ceremony where Hajji Hassan Muyanja Ssetongo, a renowned politician, expressed his gratitude to God for saving him from an accident. Furthermore, he utilized the occasion to officially declare his intention of running for a position as a member of parliament in the forthcoming elections.
Numerous individuals particularly the residents of Bukoto Mid-West Constituency, gathered at the event where Hajji Hassan expressed gratitude to God for his life.
The event commenced with a prayer led by representatives from various religious denominations. It was during this moment that HE. Dr. Rashid Yahaya Semuddu urged the congregation to cultivate the habit of expressing gratitude to God consistently.
HE. Semuddu also urged Ugandans to be patriotic and love their country because it is their responsibility
Utilizing the moment, Bukoto County South MP Twaha Kagabo elaborated to the residents of Lwengo the motivations for his transition from NUP to the Patriotic League of Uganda.
hajji Hassan Muyanja Ssetongo in his speech declared that he is contesting for the member of parliament seat of the constituency and he mobilized the NRM party members and well-wishers to turn up in big numbers to update their names on the NRM voter register.
