Mafabi’s Homecoming Ceremony: To Boost Support Unity Ahead Of 2026 Polls — FDC Announces
The Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) has officially announced plans to host a grand homecoming ceremony for its presidential candidate, Hon. Nathan Nandala Mafabi, in Mbale later this month.
Addressing journalists during a press conference held earlier today, FDC spokesperson John Kikoyonjo revealed that the event will take place on 30th August 2025 at the Mbale Cricket Oval, located in the heart of the Bugisu sub-region—a place Hon. Mafabi has long called home.
According to Kikoyonjo, the homecoming ceremony is designed to serve multiple strategic purposes ahead of the 2026 general elections.
First, the party aims to boost grassroots support by reconnecting Hon. Mafabi with his constituents and supporters in the region where he has served as MP for Budadiri West.
