Museveni Budget Appearance A Doubt-PPS
A section of NRM supporters and well-wishers have today handed over to the Principal Private Secretary to the President Dr. Kenneth Olusegun Omona a get-well card as he recovers from covid 19.
Museveni has spent close to a week now in isolation after testing positive to covid 19 on Wednesday last week
Omona however says the president is a doubt about the budget reading scheduled for Thursday this week.
State minister for Kampala Kabuye Kyofatogabye and a team of Kampala RCCs led their fellow NRM supporters to state house Nakasero to deliver a get-well card to President Yoweri Museveni
Museveni has since Wednesday last week been in isolation after testing positive for covid 19.
The card in form of a banner has been outside the gate of state house Nakasero where several people have gone to register their prayers for the president to recover well and fast.
The card has messages reading get well jaaja, we love you our president among others. Prayers have been held outside the state house before the card is handed over to the president’s principal private secretary.
Receiving the card on behalf of the president and his house, the Principal Private Secretary to the President Dr. Kenneth Omona lauded the spirit of Ubuntu shown by the minister, RCCs, and the entire Kamala community towards the president.
Omona told the gathering that the president is in good condition.
He however could not ascertain whether President Museveni will be in a position to attend the budget presentation scheduled for this week
Museveni was forced to delegate prime minister Robinah Nabbanja at heroes day last week where he was expected as a chief guest
It’s been six days since President Museveni went into isolation. The last tests done on day 5 confirmed he is still carrying the coronavirus in his body.
