A mass wedding will be held on the 8th of September 2023. The young couples have been asked to always incline themselves to prayer in order to have a victorious marriage.
Rev. Samuel Muwonge, the head of Missions and Evangelism in Namirembe Diocese says that most Christian men and women have failed to own their responsibilities due to lack of wisdom and guidance in their marriages.
Rev Nathan Mulondo the priest from St Apollo Kivebulaya Church at Abaita Ababiri under Namirembe Diocese who was also the main preacher highlighted that church marriage was initiated by God and most Christians need to understand it.
he added that most Christians have lost trust in their partners to the extent of adopting DNA tests to confirm their children which has in turn increased divorces and disunity in most marriages.
some of the couples who are to be united in the church have shared what they have learnt from the training and these have promised to be faithful to their partners and also to stick to their mates.
The mass wedding for the couples is to take place on the 8th of September 2023.
