
Nnabagereka Urges Children To Avoid Drug Abuse
The Nnabagereka of Buganda, Her Royal Highness Sylivia Nagginda has urged children to avoid the use of drugs and concentrate on developmental activities.
The Nnabagereka was speaking during a visit to the Kisakaate training center at Muzza high school in Mukono district where children are being trained on various aspects of life.
In a stunning appearance to inspect the activities at the Kisakaate training center, Maama Nnabagereka Sylvia Nagginda arrived at Muzza high school in Mukono district to witness the progress of the skills being passed on to the youngsters in attendance.
The attendees explained to Maama Nagginda on the progress of the learning. The training of this year’s Kisakate has majored on sensitization against drug abuse according to the trainers.
The Nnbagereka in her address to the youngsters stressed the need for them to desist from bad acts like drug usage, warning of dire consequences to victims.
The Nnabagereka also prided in the fact that the trainees will now be able to start up their own projects using the knowledge attained from the Kisakate.
Key on the training agenda is personal hygiene, cooking, farming, cultural norms, local languages, self-defense, and economic activities among others.
