NRM Chiefs Assess Manifesto Implementation In Teso Sub-Region

Rose Namayanja Nsereko, the Deputy Secretary-General of the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) party, has led a team to Ngora district for a consultative meeting on the implementation of the NRM Manifesto in the Teso Sub-region.

The high-powered delegation from the NRM Secretariat met over 250 NRM Sub-County chairpersons from the districts of Pallisa, Serere, Bukedea, Kumi, Butebo, and Ngora.

The discussion centred on monitoring the progress of the 2021-2026 NRM Manifesto implementation and key priority areas in the Teso Sub-region.

Rose Namayanja Nsereko, the Deputy Secretary-General of the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) party urged party leaders in Teso region to effectively monitor the implementation of the NRM Manifesto in their areas to ensure timely and adequate service delivery.

Namayanja also emphasized the need for unity and teamwork among party leaders and civil servants in their districts to achieve the set goals.

In the coursed of the interactions, the NRM Sub-county chairpersons were allowed to provide feedback on the progress of manifesto implementation in their respective areas for the benefit of the people.

Namayanja also encouraged the local NRM party leaders to work closely with their communities and ensure that their needs are reflected in the manifesto implementation plans.

Namayanja said that such meetings to review and assess the implementation of the NRM Manifesto for the current presidential term, now left with under three years, will be done in other parts of the country as well to ensure that the NRM party's development agenda is effectively tracked and executed.
