Excitement has intensified among National Resistance Movement leaders and supporters across Uganda as the country enters the final countdown to the swearing-in of President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for another term in office.

Party leaders and mobilizers today received accreditation letters for tomorrow’s ceremony, as officials praised improved organization, tighter security arrangements, and preparations to host thousands of supporters and dignitaries expected at the national event.

There was excitement and celebration among National Resistance Movement leaders from different parts of the country as preparations for President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s swearing-in ceremony entered the final stage.

Hundreds of party leaders, mobilizers, and members of various NRM leagues gathered today to receive accreditation letters granting them access to designated sections at the Kololo Ceremonial Grounds.

The accreditation exercise was conducted under strict coordination and security arrangements aimed at ensuring order and smooth movement during the ceremony.

Leaders applauded the newly introduced verification and accreditation system, saying it has improved organization compared to previous national events.

Under the new arrangement, participants are required to first report to their district coordination tents for verification before receiving official NRM party jackets and clearance to access the main ceremony grounds.

Officials also assured supporters that adequate preparations have been made to cater for invited guests, including food, drinks, and logistical support during the celebrations.

Meanwhile, the Chairperson of the NRM Women’s League, Adrine Kobusingye, reaffirmed women’s support for President Museveni under the slogan “All Women for Museveni.”

Kobusingye expressed optimism that women across the country will continue benefiting from the government’s economic empowerment and transformation programs over the next five years.

At the same event, the Member of Parliament-elect for Tororo North County, Simon Nicholas Owino, congratulated President Museveni upon his victory and successful journey toward another swearing-in ceremony.

Owino pledged continued support for the NRM agenda and committed to working closely with the president to extend government programs to grassroots communities.

Security and logistical preparations are now in high gear as Uganda prepares to host thousands of supporters, foreign dignitaries, and invited guests for tomorrow’s presidential swearing-in ceremony at Kololo Ceremonial Grounds.
