President Museveni Donates A Brand New Tractor To Rt. Rev. Ntagali
The brand new tractor was handed over to the former Archbishop of Church of Uganda His grace Stanley Ntagali during a thanksgiving ceremony of Michael Christopher Ayeranga, an NRM mobiliser, in Kyakirube cell, Bugambe Sub-County in Kikuube district.
According to Ayeranga, the president handed over tractors in fulfillment of the pledge he made when he received a request letter from the former archbishop.
The State Minister for Public Service Grace Mary Mugasa who witnessed the event said the tractor is not only going to help the retired archbishop but also the people around him stressing that the region needs to start producing enough food to sustain the already existing market.
The Members of Parliament who graced the occasion appreciated the president for extending a helping hand to the retired man of God.
However, the Bugahya county Member of Parliament Pius Wakabi Rujumba appealed to government to ensure that the tractors are extended to at least every Parish in order to fulfill the programs of commercializing agriculture in the country.
