Public Gatherings Require Proper Preparation
It is a norm for many people to celebrate different occasions in the year; however this requires a lot of preparations on the side of organizers and hosts.
Religious leaders have shared measures to take in order to have a successful and organized gathering.
According to the coordinator of crossover nights at St Paul’s Cathedral, Namirembe, Rev. Samuel Muwonge, it is important to group people with leaders on these occasions where there are hundreds of them.
He adds that leaders of events should be mindful of the safety of minors.
Rev. Canon Grace Edrisa Ssentongo noted that the number of people in the space where gatherings happen should correspond with the space to avoid congestion.
He explains that security should play its role in such situation where crowds are excited.
With all this said and done, it should be a responsibility for families and the public at large to ensure peace and tranquility in public gatherings.
