Rampant Poaching In Queen Elizabeth National Park
Poaching remains a growing threat and barrier to biodiversity conservation in the Queen Elizabeth National Park and neighbouring communities.
In a bid to avert this threat to wildlife and tourism in general, communities living near the national park have been supported with livestock to improve their household incomes and enable them to earn from diverse sources.
This is a programme implemented by Hope Ministries under its conservation and biodiversity programme.
