Rotary Targets Community Challenges: New Service Year Plans Bulange Rotarians Focus On Community Needs As District Governor Begins Club Tour.

The Rotary Club of Bulange has outlined its priorities for the new Rotary year, focusing on community interventions including blood donation, environmental conservation, and support for vulnerable groups. The plans were announced at the Buganda Royal Institute of Business and Technical Education in Kakeeka, Mengo, during a visit by the Rotary District 9214 Governor for Uganda and Tanzania, Daniel Mukasa Ddamulira, who is touring clubs to assess their activities and priorities.

The visit to the Rotary Club of Bulange is part of the district governor's tour of clubs across Uganda and Tanzania, aimed at understanding their priorities and assessing how they are aligning their activities with Rotary’s service mission. The governor says clubs must remain focused on creating meaningful change in the communities they serve.

The Rotary Club of Bulange is among the clubs being assessed during the Governor’s tour. The club says its focus this year is on projects addressing areas such as health, environmental conservation, and livelihoods.

At the Rotary Club of Bulange, led by President Rtn. Monica Zawedde, the leadership has identified areas it intends to prioritize, including environmental conservation, health support, and improving livelihoods for vulnerable groups.

The club has identified several areas of focus for the year, with some activities already underway as it begins implementing its planned interventions.

As the new Rotary year progresses, attention will be on how these planned interventions translate into action within the communities they are intended to serve.
