Speaker Among Directs AG On Acts Implementation Guidelines

The speaker of parliament Anita Among has directed the government chief and the attorney general to table before parliament several implementation guidelines for several laws that have been passed by parliament.
The speaker is concerned that many laws have been passed and cannot be operationalized because of the lack of these guidelines.
Laws like the Road and traffic guidelines act that were passed in 2019 have up to now never been operationalized due to lack of such guidelines.
