Sunday Service Roundup: Christians Urged to Remain Rooted in Christ Amid Life’s Challenges. Believers Encouraged to Embrace Unity, Grace, And Perseverance in Faith.

Christians across different churches today gathered for worship under messages centered on faith, unity, grace, and perseverance. Preachers encouraged believers to remain anchored in Christ, return to God wholeheartedly, and continue serving faithfully despite life’s challenges.

At All Saints Cathedral, the youth ministry led the service under the theme “Anchored in Christ for Unity, Stability, and Peace.” Christians were encouraged to remain firm in faith during difficult times by staying rooted in God’s Word and trusting Christ as their source of strength and guidance.

At St. Paul’s Namirembe Cathedral, the sermon delivered by the vicar, Rev. Henry James Lukyamuzi, was based on Jeremiah 6:16, calling believers to return to the Lord through repentance and obedience. Worshippers were reminded to trust in God, walk in righteousness, and become doers of the Word.

Meanwhile, at Kakumba Chapel, Kyambogo University, the theme “One in Heart and Mind," drawn from Acts Chapter Four, encouraged Christians to embrace unity within the church. Married couples were also urged to remain united and supportive of one another as they serve God.

At St. Stephen’s Kisugu Church of Uganda, Christians reflected on the theme “Start and Keep at it Until.” Drawing from Ecclesiastes 11:1–6 and 1 Timothy 6:1–12, believers were encouraged to work hard, remain resilient, and use their God-given talents to build God’s Kingdom without giving up.

Across the different services, Christians were reminded that faith, unity, obedience, and perseverance remain essential pillars of the Christian life. Believers now return to their daily activities challenged to stay grounded in Scripture and committed to living out their faith.
